Eleven Hundred Springs

Formed from the remnants of Dallas rockabilly band Lone Star Trio in 1998, EHS was founded by Matt Hillyer and Steve Berg.  Their 1999 release, Live at Adair's Saloon, is one of the definitive albums of the late 90s Texas music scene   This album, along with popular Monday night performances at the famed Adair's Saloon, a honky-tonk and hamburger "joint" in the Deep Ellum section of Dallas, TX. helped make the band a fan favorite across Texas.  Eleven Hundred Springs shows a commitment to the true soul of country music — what Steve Earle calls real music. While they may not look like your conventional country act, the tradition and spirit that make up true Americana is easy to see.  It's all about honesty and lack of pretense.
